Movies In The Park August 24, 2019 5:30P Penasquitos Creek Park

School started today and it marks the end of Summer for our community.  There is still one last hoorah scheduled to celebrate together this coming Saturday at Penasquitos Creek Park.

Christensen Realty Group, a Premiere Community Partner, is hosting its annual ‘Movies In The Park’ open to all of 92129 this year!  Each year they donate the proceeds of the event to a local charity.  This year they have chosen us to support the PQFireworks2020 show. We want to extend a huge thank you to local businesses participating in and sponsoring the event!  It should be a fun-filled night for all! For more details on the pre-show entertainment and vendors check out https://christensenrealtygroup.com/events/12588/

EVENT VOLUNTEERS are needed! If you would like to volunteer for the event there is still time!  We are looking for 10-16 strong able-bodied young adults and adults to help set up at 4:30, and tear-down at 9:45.  Sign up to volunteer here, MIP VOLUNTEER SIGN UP

So many were disappointed in July that there was no Community Fireworks! What? Why? This is a community tradition, right?   We are shouting from the rafters to all of PQ, fundraising goals for the #PQFireworks2020 is $35K and must be raised by April 1, 2020, to hold our Summer event. If you love having Fireworks in PQ we ask you to reach into your pocket and donate $25 dollars per family we can meet our goals.  This is a new ask of each of us since the funding was canceled by the city of San Diego in 2018. Let make it happen, donate today to keep Fireworks in PQ going forward. Donate to the PQFIreworks Fund Today

We are dedicated to fostering a special sense of community for Rancho Penasquitos through our events and Grant programs year-round.  As an all-volunteer organization made up of your friends and neighbors, it is up to us.  We welcome you to get involved today. Join the RP Town Council
