With our kids returning to school during the limited COVID-19 San Diego County re-opening our parents need more resources to help their children with school work. Find tutors using the resources available through the San Diego Public Library online.

  • Patrons can reserve any needed material online and then pick up holds from the library via our contactless holds pick up service.

    • Brainfuse HelpNow: Free, live online tutoring for homework help every day from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Get help in English or Spanish, for all grades K-12. In addition, you’ll find writing assistance with The Writing Lab and help with standardized tests, such as the SAT, ACT, AP, TOEFL, GED, and ASVAB.

    • Library NExT (Network of Education x Training) is a series of workshops for elementary, middle and high school students on topics including robotics, circuits, Quest for Space: Heat Experiments on the ISS and 64 + other STEAM subjects. Initially started as a pilot program at six San Diego libraries in 2017, it has expanded to 21 locations in 2020 with plans to be offered at all City of San Diego library locations. This San Diego Public Library program is a collaboration with UC San Diego Extension and Sally Ride Science.
