Rancho Penasquitos Wildfire Evacuation Plan coming in 2019
The Rancho Penasquitos Firesafe Council has provided updated evacuation plan proposals for the community. You may be hearing weekly news stations talking about the real threats this Summer after so much rain in the area. These proposed evacuation plan changes are under advisement with the County Firesafe Council. We can not wait to have a community plan, the time is now, before we are trying to salvage our belongings and exit the area. All residents are encouraged to have a plan for your family, as well as your neighbor’s contact information; if you do not have one download this pamphlet provided by ‘READY San Diego, http://www.readysandiego.org/ review your strategy, https://www.sandiego.gov/sites/default/files/rsg-english.pdf
If you would like to join the Rancho Penasquitos Firesafe Committee and represent your neighborhood come to the RP Town Council Meeting this Thursday, June 6th, 2019 at the Hotel Karlan, Del Sur Rm, speak to Mike Shoecraft, Niel Marmerto, and Dennis Spurr.
