Hospice Volunteers Needed in Black Mountain Ranch

Hello Friends and Neighbors,

Hospice Volunteers needed in Black Mountain Ranch

Councilmember Marni von Wilpert is asking us to share the news about the need for Hospice Volunteers in District 5.

Passing along a message from Karen Rice, the Hospice Volunteer Coordinator for San Diego:

œMy name is Karen Rice, I am the Hospice Volunteer Coordinator for the San Diego area.  I am hoping you can help me with getting word out that Rancho Bernardo, Black Mountain Ranch, and San Pasqual (District 5) all need hospice volunteers.

Hospice Volunteers only work 1 to 3 times per month for just a few hours at a time.  We work around the volunteers` schedules and the patients love to have company just to visit and brighten their day. Volunteers do NOT work, change sheets, feed, or even touch the patients¦they visit, read, listen to music, play a game, or just chat.  It is a great opportunity for volunteers to meet other members of their community. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.
