Rancho Penasquitos Planning Board : Meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30 pm at the Doubletree Golf Resort, Sandpiper Room, 14455 Peñasquitos Drive. The City Council recognizes one official land use planning group in each community to work with City staff to formulate and implement the General Plan and community plans, and to advise the Planning Commission and City Council on projects.

Mt. Carmel Certified Farmers Market: Sunday 11-3. Support our community, school and PTSA by shopping with us! The Certified Farmers Market has started at Mt. Carmel High School. The market is hosted by our PTSA and funds raised benefit the PTSA programs: Grad Nite, the Library at the Mount, Student Services and much more. Please come support our community by attending one or more of the market days.
